Discovered this place a few weeks ago and decided to stop by for dinner with friends. Chicken and mutton karahi were excellent, bread was hot, portion size was ample, and price was appropriate. Will come back.

Great Karahi. Not spicy at all and it's great if you are looking for a good Karahi! Loved the food and service was also great.

Food is made fresh! I love it here. Staff is down to earth. The restaurant is always clean. You go to the front and place your order. They take your name so once it’s ready they call you. You find your own seating. I probably go here everyday because it’s so good.

Kabob n Karahi is quickly becoming one of my go-to spots whenever I’m craving lamb! The food is consistently fresh and authentic—I’m especially in love with their shrimp and goat karahi. But the real star? Their lamb chops—absolutely to die for! My only wish is that they’d upgrade their tableware and utensils to better match the sleek, modern vibe of the restaurant.

After an intense week of midterms, my friends and I were eager to find a restaurant that could satisfy our diverse dietary preferences, including both halal and vegetarian options. Our search led us to Kabob N Karahi in Silver Spring, MD, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. Upon entering, we were immediately struck by the warm and inviting ambiance. The walls are adorned with vibrant photographs of renowned cricketers, creating a lively atmosphere that celebrates the rich culture of South Asia. This unique decor sparked engaging conversations among us, especially for those who are cricket enthusiasts. The menu at Kabob N Karahi is extensive, offering a wide array of dishes that cater to various palates. As a vegetarian, I was particularly impressed with the selection of paneer dishes. I opted for the Paneer Kadai, which featured tender cubes of paneer cooked in a flavorful tomato-based gravy with bell peppers and onions. The spices were perfectly balanced, providing a delightful kick without overwhelming the senses. Accompanying the paneer was freshly baked naan, soft and warm, ideal for savoring every bit of the delicious gravy. My friends, who prefer halal meat, were equally pleased with their choices. One friend ordered the Chicken Karahi, a signature dish of the restaurant, and couldn’t stop raving about the succulent pieces of chicken simmered in a rich and aromatic sauce. Another friend tried the Lamb Biryani, which was a fragrant and hearty dish, with tender pieces of lamb cooked with perfectly spiced basmati rice. The service was prompt and courteous. The staff took the time to explain various dishes and made thoughtful recommendations based on our preferences. Their attentiveness ensured that our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable. In addition to the delectable food, the restaurant’s commitment to accommodating different dietary needs stood out. It’s not always easy to find a place that offers both authentic halal meat dishes and a variety of vegetarian options, but Kabob N Karahi excels in this regard. Overall, our evening at Kabob N Karahi was a delightful experience. The combination of flavorful food, inviting ambiance, and excellent service made it a perfect spot to unwind after a stressful week. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a diverse and satisfying dining experience.

This was my first time trying Pakistani food and I was not disappointed. I ordered pick up for a few items online including the boneless chicken karahi (I ordered spicy but they will ask), the beef seekh with a side of rice/chickpeas, and extra tandoor naan. The food took ~40 minutes. When I went inside to pick up my food, the young guys at the counter were very friendly and made a little bit of small talk/banter and the environment was much nicer than I’d expected from pictures. The food was all very, very good. The naan was by far some of the best I’ve gotten from any middle eastern restaurant, the chicken karahi was very spicy but flavors were phenomenal, and the seekh was equally great. My only small complaint is that on the website, the boneless chicken karahi is not listed as a “for 2” entree so I figured it would be cheaper. It was not, and I ended up paying ~$50 for everything. But it was well worth it! Would recommend

We tried their Goat kharai and lamb kabob. Food was delicious with all the flavors. But goat meat was kind of harder side. It could be more soft and tender. So food is 4/5 However, service was disappointing. All the tables were dirty and nobody cared about it. Their serving style could be better. 1/5

Delicious and plentiful portions for a good price. My husband got the weekend special Nihari and I got the fried fish for lunch. Everything was hot and fresh. We’d definitely stop here again next time we’re in the area.
